SHRINK TUBES
usable for medical Instruments
Shrink tubes are rugged, semi-rigid tubes with a very thin wall construction. They are particularly suitable for applications requiring high temperature resistance, excellent abrasion and puncture resistance, and excellent resistance to a wide range of fluids.
- The tubing provides electrical insulation and strain relief for components exposed to high temperatures – either during operation or during sterilization.
- They can be sterilized.
- Made of Class VI plastic materials (contact with injection material and body fluids or tissue).

Medical-grade, thin wall, flexible, fluoropolymer heat-shrinkable tube
- Color: Black
- Very flexible and pliable. Suitable for flexible pliers, for example.
- Material: Fluoropolymer (FP)
- Full recovery temperature: 150°C

- Maximum recommended temperature for use as primary insulator: 135°C
Medical-grade, flexible, polyolefin heat-shrinkable tube
This specification covers the requirements for a type of single-wall, electrically insulating, extruded tubing whose diameter reduces to a specified size (230°F) when exposed to heat in excess of 110°C.
- Color: Black
- Material: Polyolefin
- Very flexible and pliable. Suitable e.g. for flexible pliers.
- Full recovery temperature: 110°C
- Continuous operating temperature: -70°C to 105°C
