Arthroscopy INSERTS and HANDLES

Arthroscopy is a modern and highly precise minimally invasive method to treat injured and damaged joints, e.g. in a knee or a shoulder, by surgery.
Through tiny skin incisions, a camera, a source of light, a flushing and suction device, as well as special instruments are inserted into the joint to apply the appropriate therapy in the joint directly, depending on the diagnostic findings.
As the special instruments are mainly cutting instruments, it must be assumed that they will get blunt when frequently used. Technically, such instruments may indeed be re-sharpened by skilled technicians, but only few times.
This is where we come in.
Our shaft replacements comparable to Acufex allow to exchange the blunt shaft in the instrument by a sharp shaft in order to restore the function again completely. This repair method is cost- and time-efficient and gives the surgeon the feeling of working with a new instrument.
